I am a Cognitive Behaviour Therapist (CBT) and, Clinical Hypnotherapist and have been in private practice for over 10 years. I see clients in Hitchin, Hertfordsire and Marylebone, Central London. I am also a CBT Therapist at the Priory Hospital and a performance coach at Trinity College of Music. As well as my clinical work I also supervise students on the Rational Emotive & Cognitive- Behaviour Therapy Masters Degree course at Goldsmith’s College, University of London.

After initial training as a musician in Northern Ireland I moved to London in 1995 to pursue a career as a professional trombonist. It was during this time that I first became interested in therapy, initially in relation to performance. After completing a Masters degree in psychology for musicians and a certificate in Clinical Hypnosis in 1999 I decided to pursue therapy as a career and then went about acquiring the training and knowledge necessary. I initially worked mainly with performers but my practice has grown to encompass sports performance, hypnosis, coaching, and CBT. I have a Masters degree in Rational-Emotive and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (RECBT) and hold a practitioner diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the London College of Clinical Hypnosis. I am also a full member of both the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis and Association for Coaching.
